He specialises in Finance advisory services, Seed/Angel funding, investor growth, having a passion for start-up and small companies in Finance & Technology (Fintech) space.

Vikas holds a degree in Electronics and Communication from Kurukshetra University, India.



Richa is an experienced Geophysicist and a Rock Physics specialist with 11+ years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry.

Having worked in multiple basins (Barmer basin, India; Gulf of Mexico, Texas; North Sea, UK; Lower Congo Basin and Kwanza Basin, Angola) across the globe, she has accrued expertise in both clastic and carbonate reservoirs, doing 3D and 4D seismic interpretation.

She has been involved at different stages of business cycle – exploration, appraisal, development and production.

Turlough Cooling​​

Chief Technical Officer

Turlough has 40 years of E&P oil and gas upstream and midstream experience, including natural gas storage operations. He has advised national oil companies, major and independent companies and investors over a wide range of technical, commercial and strategic activities, including new ventures & exploration, techno-economic asset evaluations and field production & development.

Turlough has 18 years of working experience with Chevron/Texaco and his early project was the Highlander field development as a reservoir engineer and he was the production engineer during the commissioning of this subsea development which was one of the first generations of advanced remote-controlled subsea production facilities in the North Sea. Turlough has led various teams working on assets including the Maersk-operated Dan Field, Denmark, planning production and introducing innovative technology such as high-rate water injection to induce large hydraulic fractures and increase oil recovery in the low permeability chalk reservoir.

He was Managing Director at Duke Energy’s and provided petroleum engineering services for clients on global assets across North Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Americas. He joined Fugro Robertson as General Manager to lead, develop and operate a new business branch office for the global organisation. CGG acquired Fugro Robertson. Turlough was a senior management team member of CGG Consulting, a leading geoscience service and consulting company; the Petroleum Reservoir & Economics division director managing the CGG subsurface engineering services and led the advisory subsurface engineering team for the Petronas Europe Gas stores operations.

Before joining Tangram, Turlough’s last appointment was Vice President, Sub-Saharan Africa and Technical Director, Subsurface & Drilling. io consulting is a joint venture created by Baker Hughes and McDermott. Turlough is a co-founder of Apeiron Management a technical, commercial, financial, and corporate advisory operating in the oil & gas, renewables, and Energy Transition sectors. Turlough is registered with the SPE and Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE) and certifies reserves and resources. He holds an MSc. Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, and a BSc. Civil Engineering from Queen Mary College, London University.

Kenneth Brougher​

Managing Director

Ken Brougher is the Managing Director at Tangram Energy Ltd.

Ken joined the Astra Group in 2016 and is a member of the investment committee. Prior to Astra, Ken was at Deutsche Bank for over 17 years where he was head of its Global Markets Structured Notes desk responsible for a global platform with over EUR 40bn in issuance across over 100 SPVs and 14 jurisdictions including Credit, Rates, Equities, Trade Finance, Funds, Commodities, EM, Insurance and Longevity/Mortality strategies.

Ken specialised in the creation, delivery and execution of complex innovative derivative solutions including static and managed synthetic CDOs, CDO^2, leveraged super senior tranches in funded and unfunded/derivative form. Ken holds a BA in Political Science from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Ananda Roy

Exploration Geologist

Ananda is an experienced geoscientist with 20+ years of international experience in technical and leadership roles as operator and service provider.

He has managed and led Integrated projects with multi-disciplinary team on Play screening, Resource Assessment, Field Development Plan projects, in numerous countries, basins and geological environments.

He has hands on work experience on end-to-end workflow for exploration from seismic to drilling, also managing Exploration portfolio for planning and digital strategic direction to ensure business integration/ standardization. He has expert knowledge on Petroleum system modeling, Play based exploration and Borehole Image log interpretation.

He has worked for major International Oil Field Service Provider Baker Hughes, Halliburton and Schlumberger, also oil and gas operators HOEC Ltd, PDO and Cairn India (Vedanta Ltd).

Luc Huyghebaert

Chief Financial Officer

Luc started his career in Belgium in 1986 as assistant to the Chairman of the Société Générale de Belgique in Brussels. In 1988 he moved to Singapore with Générale de Banque to manage Asian credits and treasury products. He later became a physical commodity trader in 1990 for Brussels-based Sogem, a subsidiary of Belgian conglomerate Union Minière. His initial focus was the sourcing of cobalt, tin and speciality metals. In 1992, he started the Moscow office, responsible for all metals across the ex Soviet Union.

After his MBA at IMD, Luc joined Fidelity in 1995 as an Investment Director, managing a portfolio of fixed-income on behalf of institutional investors. He had direct authority on the investment decision of the funds.

In 2000, Luc joined KiCap Management Limited, a London-based Long/Short Equity hedge fund with a focus on Technology, Media and Telecom. At KiCap, Luc was the COO and had responsibilities for compliance and internal operations. As the firm was split between the US and the UK, Luc’s role as a COO often overlapped with the role of the CEO, in taking non-financial decisions and managing the capital raising of the fund.

Between 2008 and 2009, Luc was the Head of Corporate Strategy for Turquoise Trading, an equities and derivatives trading MTF, prior to its acquisition by the London Stock Exchange.

In 2011, Luc was the Chairman of Paragon Diamonds Limited, an AIM listed mining company with portfolio of primary diamond deposits in Lesotho.

In 2014, Luc joined Meliora Capital LLP as a Partner.

Sumon Bhattacharyya

Sub Surface Geologist

Sumon is an experienced Chartered Geologist (C.Geol) and Certified Petroleum Geologist (P.Geol) having nearly 27+ years of experience working in 39 countries. He has worked in Geological and Geophysical interpretation and integration of field, Geological Modelling, Reserves and Resource audits, Unitization, Integrated Field Studies, Field Development Studies and Seismic to Simulation workflows.

Experienced working for both clastics and carbonate reservoirs with knowledge of application and algorithm design for Geomodelling software that helps him in to effectively work through complex G&G problems.

He has a masters degree in Applied Geology from Delhi University, India.
